Born in Hamburg 1954, half-year old emigrated to Australia, grew up in the outback, as a kid with own kangaroo and to school on horseback, no electricity and no tv; and was often called "little german nazipig", therefore burnt down the schoolhouse...; returned after 12 years; studied at University Hamburg: literature+physical education, hobby: opera and punkconcerts, wrote for musicmagazines (Spex...), started MUSICFILMS 1981, mainly with (and because) Underground- and classical Music, Dance and extraordinary artists, from Underground to Hollywood and back. Most films supported by Filmförderung, Culture-department of City Hamburg, (Germany: distributed by Pandora, SilverCine, now: 5films NeueVisionen, and Dejavu-Filmverleih).
Often travels with + presents his films around the world, also supported by Goethe-Institute.
Since 2003 his films are shown on German art-tv: ZDF/3sat and "ARTE".
Also presents Foto-exhibitions and videoshows in Galleries+Cinemas, mainly independent,
sometimes museums: Deutsches Filmmuseum Frankfurt, Babylon-Berlin, Kunsthalle-Hamburg, Anthology Film Archives and CBGB, NewYork, "Egyptian",L.A., Hamburg: "GrosseFreiheit 36"...

Nacido en Hamburgo 1954, con medio ano de edad emigrado a Australia, criendo en el interior (outback), un nino con propio canguro y montar a la escuela a cuestas del caballo, no electricidad y no tv; volver con 12 anos; estudiando en la Universidad de Hamburgo: literatura+educación fisico, hobby: ópera y Punk conciertos, escribio por revistas de la música (Spex...), comenzar hacer MUSICFILMS 1981, sobre todo con (y porque) Underground y la música clásica, la danza y los artistas extraordinarios, de Underground a Hollywood y vuelta. La major parte de los peliculas con apoyo de la Fomento del Cine de la Oficina de la Cultura de la ciudad Hamburgo. Muchas veces el viaja con sus peliculas por todo el mundo, también apoyar del Goethe-Institute. Desde 2003 sus peliculas se puede ver en art-tv aléman: 3SAT y "ARTE". También presento exposiciónes de foto y videoshows en Gallerias y Cinemas independente, tambien el museo como DeutschesFilmmuseumFrankfurt y Kunsthalle Hamburg (Casa del Arte, Hamburgo), AnthologyFilmArchives y CBGB, NewYork, "Egyptian", Los Angeles, Hamburgo: "Grosse Freiheit 36" ...
